Well here we are, approaching the second week of June and not a sunburnt body in sight! What makes matters worse is the fact that I am itching to get cracking with some serious photography, I have so much I want to do and the weather is holding me back.
I am still tinkering with and getting used to the Zenfolio way of preparing a web site. In the past I had a moderately successful blog site but it was far more primitive to use. I must admit that the Zenfolio web site is really well put together, it's relatively easy to use and has an excellent help centre which includes videos to assist. The only thing I can't find is an in house spell checker which is a blinking nuisance.
For those of you interested in SEO (Search Engine Optomisation), I am running a 30 day trial period using a program called Image Keyworder. I can't comment on it yet as I only installed it last night and don't fully understand it! Early indications are that it will be very helpful and I will eventually do a review on it.
On a final note, today Amanda and I went to Foxton Locks for a walk with Tara (our 1 year old German Wirehaired Pointer). We drove there via the old track at the back of Saddington reservoir and it was nice to see that the water was back up to the top of the banks. As we approached Gumley I slowed and looked at the views across the valley. Give me a dry, clear morning and I will do my best to capture some sun rises as the views are stunning.
Well that's all for now so stay safe until next time.
