At last! Two dry days and I managed to achieve something artistic but it has left me with a question that I hope someone can answer!
As I have mentioned in a previous post, I am the very proud owner of a gorgeous German Wirehaired Pointer called Kimmax Too Kool For Skool but we call her Tara! She is 1 year old and a complete super star in just about every way, we just don't like to mention her penchant for cat poo lol! Anyway today, as the weather was half decent, I took her for a walk in the meadows at the back of my house. As Tara is quite an excitable dog I decided that taking a big camera was out of the question so I popped my little Lumix in my pocket.
The meadows I walk in are old, there are the ancient hedgerows that are still just about visible and the land itself has not been touched in the 20 odd years that I know of. It is just used for grazing by a large herd of pedigree Charolais cows and calves so there is an abundance of wild flowers, mainly Daisies and Buttercups but a few more varieties too.
During the walk I noticed one or two small, white flowers that were growing amongst the Buttercups and I have absolutely no idea what they are which is, hopefully, where a reader might be able to help. I have looked in a couple of books I have and the closest I can come up with is Wood Sorrell but what do you think?
There are no prizes for the correct answer but you will make an old man very happy!
I have checked the weather forecast and it doesn't look promising, it may well be more "image admin" tomorrow but whatever you all decide to do, make sure you stay safe.
Until next time.
